These eight isobaric pressure tanks (each with a capacity of 500 hl), manufactured by Sirio Aliberti in 2005, originate from the wine industry and were previously used for sparkling wine production. With an operating pressure of up to 6 bar and full insulation, the tanks are well-suited for fermentation, maturation, and storage of carbonated beverages, including beer, sparkling wine, and similar products. The tanks are constructed from carbon steel with a food-grade epoxy coating on the interior, combined with polyurethane insulation and a stainless steel sheet cladding on the exterior. This design represents a traditional and cost-effective alternative to stainless steel tanks, which became standard in later years. Thanks to their large volume and isobaric suitability, these tanks are especially ideal for high-throughput production environments. As with all epoxy-coated vessels, regular inspection and renewal of the interior coating are required depending on operational conditions.
