The Altendorf double roller carriage is renowned for its smooth operation and precision guidance. It can be locked steplessly in any position. The large double rollers, precision-manufactured from hardened steel, keep the upper carriage aligned precisely with the lower carriage thanks to the hard-chromed guide rails. This running quality is maintained even after decades of use and in dirty conditions. The carriage body is designed as an extremely rigid and torsion-resistant multi-chamber system. The table surface is finely planed and anodized. A hard-chromed round bar, form-fitted into the upper carriage, serves as the mounting for the cross slide and as an interface for various accessories. The entire unit is low-maintenance and requires no lubrication.
On/off switch on the double roller carriage
- The on/off switch is always within reach on the double roller carriage. Four buttons are used to switch both the main saw blade and the scorer on and off. This saves time and increases safety.
Angle-mitre fence, cross cuts up to 3,500 mm
- This patented fence by ALTENDORF features an integrated length compensation, facilitating precise mitre and angle cuts in a single operation. In both positions, the swivel angle is infinitely adjustable by up to 49° and indicated on a measuring scale. The backlash-free and robust fence stops can be easily shifted and adjusted individually across the entire range of up to 3,500 mm.
