Alzinger Lepton 5100 – Solution for the Organic Waste Ordinance (BioAbfV) Ideal for biowaste separation: Effortlessly comply with the statutory 1% limit!

As of May 2025, biowaste may only be processed if the contaminant content is below 1.0 wt.-%. Our Lepton 5100 was precisely engineered for this requirement.

Lepton 5100 Advantages: Separation instead of shredding

Gentle bag opening: Refuse sacks are reliably opened without being shredded. A pre-shredder (slow-running) is not required!

Maximum film size: Films remain largely intact and are efficiently discharged in the first screening step, before fragmentation can occur during compost turning, heating, and UV exposure.

Highest purity: Prevents microplastics in the process and safeguards end product quality.

Economic Efficiency:

Legal compliance: Reliably stays below the 1% threshold of the BioAbfV.

Process optimization: Reduced effort for post-cleaning.

Cost efficiency: Significant savings in diesel and wear costs, as no pre-shredder is needed.

Integrated air separator: No bulky extra machines necessary. Saves space and maintenance costs.

Process innovation (flexible control):

Biowaste processing (2-fraction): Reversible midsize conveyor belt homogenizes mid and fine fractions. Result: Clean target grain for digestion/composting plus oversize containing films/contaminants.

Compost refinement (3-fraction): Separation into premium compost, structural material, and energy wood. The ballistic effect discharges stones, glass, and rigid plastics via the stone fraction conveyor. Integrated air separators remove residual films.

Current application: Successful biowaste processing for wet fermentation. The machine delivers a contaminant-free, homogenous fraction for the fermenter and thus prevents floating or sinking layers.

Inspection & Demonstration: Live demonstration at our partner facility in Kelheim county available. Processes can be discussed directly with the plant operator.
