Heating Element Welding Machine HP60/40 by BRANSON
The drive is hydraulic, supported by precise positioning and control systems. The machine is equipped with its own vacuum pump.
Usable heating element area: Width 600 mm x Depth 400 mm
Max. part dimensions:
- Max. part width: 620 mm
- Max. part depth: 420 mm
- Max. upper part height: 350 mm
- Max. lower part height: 350 mm
(Combinations of part heights possible, depending on contour)
- Max. working temperature for contact process: 400°C
The modular frame design of the machine allows for easy modifications. The side doors in the welding area can be easily opened for simple conversion work. The automatic safety lift door ensures a high level of operator safety.
The temperature controllers on the operator panel have actual/setpoint displays. The operator device is a Siemens PLC panel. Machine control is handled by a Siemens PLC (S7-300 controller). The heating elements are equipped with temperature sensors for temperature regulation and also serve for safety shutdown in case of overheating. The pin systems on the clamping surfaces allow for reproducible positioning.
Advantages of Heating Element Welding Technology:
- Secure welding of workpieces with thin or differing wall thicknesses is possible.
- Low reject rates due to dimensionally accurate and reproducible weld joints.
- Precise control of time, temperature, and force allows welding of even sensitive parts.
- Nearly all thermoplastics can be welded with this process.
- Different plastic types can be welded together (compatibility must be checked).
