The PUR 2 kg light eSmart bag melter is suitable for edge banding machines with lower adhesive consumption.
Tank size suitable for all standard commercial PUR bag packages in 2–3 kg sizes.
Modular system. All components can be replaced individually. Simply remove the sheet metal housing to quickly access all relevant components.
Melting capacity up to 2 kg/h (depending on adhesive and viscosity).

The solid PUR adhesive, wrapped in aluminum foil, is placed in the tank. The adhesive is gently melted as needed.
A glue reservoir is located under the tank where up to 0.7 kg of adhesive is kept in liquid form.
From there, the adhesive is conveyed via a gear pump through an FE-MA-TECH® hot-melt hose and a heated application head (valve) to the applicator units (IMA, Homag, etc.).
The system is completely airtight, allowing the adhesive to remain in the unit for several months with proper use.
