Application:
Lehmann gravity belt filters PF are belt filters for cleaning coolants (KSS) used in chip-removing machining processes.
Can be used as a standalone filtration unit on machine tools or in combination with chip conveyors
Generally used locally (for one machine tool)

Filter process description
1. Contaminated liquid flows via the inlet box into the filter tank
2. The filter fleece retains contaminants while the liquid flows through
3. The contaminants form a filter cake, which also retains the smallest particles
4. The clean liquid collects in the clean tank

Regeneration process
1. The growing filter cake increases flow resistance
2. The liquid level in the filter tank rises
3. At a defined level, the belt drive is activated (alternatively: timer-controlled)
4. The carrier belt transports a piece of clean filter fleece onto the filter area
5. The liquid level decreases again
6. A sludge container collects the used filter fleece
