Application
This foulard-dryer combination has proven to be highly effective in practical operations. It is designed for various hot-air treatment processes such as drying, fixing, condensing, thermosoling, etc. The system is used wherever a certain sample size is needed, for example, to produce sample collections or similar applications.

THN Dryer
If all of the above-mentioned applications are to be supported, and pin frame operation is also required in standalone dryer use, the THN model is the preferred option. The standard pin frames accommodate sample sizes up to 50 x 50 cm (larger pin frames available on request).

To accommodate all deployment scenarios and allow for pin frame usage during standalone dryer operation, the THN design should be chosen. Standard pin frames are suited for sample sizes up to 50 x 50 cm (larger frames upon request). Options include length-adjustable frames for woven fabrics, length- and width-adjustable holders for knitted or nonwoven materials, and clamping frames for films and paper.

Drying Chamber
The drying chamber with electrical control cabinet and operator panel is mounted on a base frame and assembled as a single unit.

Efficient thermal insulation of the dryer is achieved through a double-walled design with intermediate insulation.

The nozzle deck, 1300 mm in length, is divided into an upper and lower section. An adjustable damper enables symmetric air distribution (top/bottom) or delivers greater airflow from either the top or bottom, as needed.

Fan and Heating System
Powerful air circulation is provided by a high-performance fan (capacity approx. 900–3500 m³/h) in combination with optimally matched heating output, resulting in maximum evaporation efficiency.

A dual fail-safe monitoring system reduces maintenance needs and increases the operational safety of the dryer.

The heating capacity is designed for rapid heating up and is automatically reduced upon reaching the target temperature to prevent unnecessary power surges.

Temperature control is performed via an electronic measurement and regulation unit, adjustable over the range of 20–250°C.

Fresh air is supplied directly to the recirculating fan via an intake fan. The required volume can be set in steps using a rotary switch.
