Applications
This foulard-dryer combination has proven itself excellently in practical use. This type of unit is used for a wide range of hot air treatment processes, such as drying, fixation, condensation, thermosoling, etc. This system is deployed wherever sample sizes large enough for producing sample collections or similar are required.
THN Dryer
To cover all the above-mentioned application possibilities, and if, in stand-alone dryer operation, the use of pin frames is also desired, the THN type design is preferred. The standard pin frames are suitable for sample sizes up to a maximum of 50 x 50 cm (larger pin frames available upon request).

Adjustable frames for fabrics (lengthways-adjustable) or material holders adjustable in both length and width are available for knits, nonwovens, etc., as well as clamping frames for films and paper.
Drying Chamber
The drying chamber, equipped with an electrical control box and operator console, is mounted on a base frame and securely bolted into a single unit.
Effective thermal insulation is ensured by a double-walled construction with intermediate insulation. The nozzle field, 1300 mm in length, is divided into upper and lower nozzle sections. A regulating damper allows for symmetrical top/bottom ventilation or a greater air flow from either above or below, as desired.
Fan and Heating
Intensive air circulation is ensured by a high-performance fan with a capacity of approx. 900–3500 m³/h, combined with well-matched heating output for optimal evaporation performance.
A dual safety monitoring system minimizes maintenance requirements and increases the operational safety of the dryer.
The heating capacity is designed for rapid heat-up and is automatically reduced after reaching the desired temperature to avoid unnecessary power surges.
Temperature control is via an electronic measuring and regulating device, adjustable between 20 and 250°C.
Fresh air is drawn directly into the recirculating fan by a separate ventilator. The required volume can be set via a multi-stage controller.
