A scrap shear is used for efficient scrap cutting:

Functionality:
Scrap is fed into the loading area with the help of an excavator. Due to the horizontal loading section and the weight of the scrap itself, it falls down into the loading chamber and into the cutting area. The scrap is compressed against the front wall and cut by the moving tool carriage side across the knives at the end wall. As the tool carriage moves horizontally, the processed material is pushed through the knives at the front of the chamber. When returning to the rear position, the loaded scrap moves into the interior of the shear by its own weight.
Scrap shears are available in various versions according to customer specifications, and the output size can be selected (for new orders).
Inspection and test operation are possible.
