Description

The hydraulically operated and extremely robust stack cutter from PFI (virtually identical in construction to the DUPLO 490) delivers high performance and precision cuts for the on-demand market. Manufactured to the highest quality standards, this stack cutter provides high-speed cuts up to 490 mm wide and handles stack thicknesses of up to 70 mm. Safety light barriers protect the operator during use, ensuring no accidents can occur and preventing cutting when objects are detected in the cutting area. Additionally, the cutter is activated via dual-button operation that requires both hands, so no hand remains on the table.

First, set your cutting specifications using the user-friendly control panel. The back gauge is motor-driven according to the digital display and can also be fine-tuned via a handwheel. An optical cutting line clearly marks where the blade will cut. The foot pedal located at the front of the machine securely clamps the paper stack in place.

The system was in daily production until recently and is being sold due to a switch to a wider machine. Any test is possible.

The machine was completely overhauled hydraulically and electrically 2 years ago (approx. €4,000 in investment, practically as new), and is in excellent condition. Apart from the size display, there is practically no complex electronics in this system (and that is minimal), with control via plug-in relays, making it virtually indestructible. Various spare parts such as relays, limit switches, etc. are included, should any ever need replacement.
