FUNCTIONAL PRINCIPLE

The system is suitable for proportioning (dosing) and mixing two or more component products.

An electronic control unit monitors and regulates the specified mixing ratio. The base paint flows continuously, and the control system adds the required amount of hardener at intervals (intermittently) via a valve. The flow rates of both base paint and hardener are measured using flow meters. For piston pumps, stroke sensors can also be used as an option.

The components and rinsing agent are supplied by feed pumps.

Color Selection

Mixing ratios, pot life, etc. are stored in recipes. Color changes can be easily made by switching recipes.

- 2K COMFORT XL version for ultra-high pressure (53 MPa; 530 bar; 7687 psi).
- Modular design – can be configured according to customer requirements.
- Electronic metering accuracy ensures consistent quality.
- Suitable for processing water-based 2K materials, as all material-bearing parts are compatible – e.g., made from stainless steel.
- The fluid section of the Ex-version is suitable for use in hazardous areas (Zone 1 and 2).
- Many function displays are shown with simple, language-independent symbols. Texts are displayed in the selected language.
- Consumption overview for each component and for rinsing agent; VOC documentation.
- Storage of the last 700 error messages including date and time.
- Safety through continuous monitoring of system parameters, operator notification of even minor faults, and automatic production stop if necessary.
- Parameter protection by security code. Settings can be backed up onto a USB stick.
- Electronic adjustment of the mixing ratio between 0.1:1 and 50:1.
- Up to 100 work recipes (including options for robot communication or Profibus).
- Option for two separate fluid circuits:
-- for simultaneous operation,
-- for rapid color changes,
-- or to separate two mutually incompatible 2K materials (e.g., PUR and epoxy paints).
