The Carel HeaterSteam UR020HL10S is an isothermal steam humidifier.
It generates steam by heating elements that are immersed in a steam cylinder filled with water.
Both standard tap water or fully demineralized water can be used as the water source.
The heat produced by the heating elements heats the water up to a temperature of 100 °C.

Steam Distribution

For optimal performance of the humidifier, the produced steam must be homogeneously distributed throughout the room to avoid droplet formation and condensate accumulation.
This can be achieved using either ventilated steam distributors or steam lances. The choice of steam distributor depends on the environment where the steam is to be introduced. For direct room humidification (such as in rooms, factory halls, etc.), ventilated steam distributors (optional) with motor-driven fans should be used.
If the steam is to be distributed in ducts or air handling units, steam lances must be used, which utilize the air velocity in the ducts for humidification.
