Machine Features

This horizontal metal band saw with a swiveling arm enables cutting perpendicular to the material axis and at any angle from 0° to 60°. The material can be fed manually or via mechanical means, and the blade feed is automated. The blade guides are fitted with special carbide plates and bearings, greatly enhancing blade stability, longevity, straightness, accuracy, and cutting quality. Carbide guidance significantly reduces wear on both the machine and the saw blade. The machine is equipped with an efficient coolant pump within a closed-loop system.

The saw arm, made from single-piece cast iron and combined with a 27 mm wide blade, enables efficient serial cutting of both profiles and solid materials. The vice is mounted on an adjustable base with a quick-release clamping mechanism. The saw blade guides utilize hard metal plates (sintered carbide) and a rolling bearing system. It is these CENTRED CARBIDE GUIDES that ensure the precision and straightness of the cut.

The upper part of the base is designed as a tray for draining coolant and collecting chips produced during cutting. The cast iron work table with swivel arm and separate control panel is attached to the base. During cutting, the main movement is provided by the blade and the downward feed of the arm. The arm’s descent speed (cutting speed) is hydraulically controlled.

Feed rate is set via the control panel. Two cutting band speeds are available: 35 and 70 m/min. Once the arm reaches its lowest position (after the cut is complete), the blade drive automatically switches off. Safety features include blade covers and micro-switches that stop the motor at the end of the cutting cycle or when any cover is opened. Additional safety is provided by an automatic cut-off in case the cutting band breaks.
