CTS CW‑60/5.5 – Water-cooled Climate Test Chamber

The CW‑60/5.5 from CTS GmbH (Climatic Test Systems) is a medium-sized, walk-in or drive-in climate chamber designed for conducting temperature and humidity tests on several test specimens simultaneously.

Device Description
This climate test chamber enables the function or material properties of a test specimen to be assessed under the influence of temperature and humidity. Efficient air circulation with a correspondingly high recirculated air volume ensures optimal transfer conditions to the test specimens.

The air handling unit is located at the rear of the interior chamber. The system’s plant modules are positioned behind the unit within a separate frame, allowing excellent accessibility. The control unit is housed in a separate control cabinet, with the operator interface integrated into the cabinet door.

For dehumidification, the chamber is equipped with a self-regenerating compressed air dryer. Additionally, a fan allows fresh air purging of the test chamber.

Climatic Testing:
- Temperature range: +10 °C to +90 °C
- Humidity range: 10% to 95% relative humidity
- Dew point range: +5 °C to +89 °C
- Temperature deviation: ±0.5 K over time
- Humidity deviation: ±1 - ±3% r.h. over time

All technical specifications refer to an ambient temperature of +25 °C, nominal voltage 400 V, without test specimens, without radiant load, and without auxiliary equipment.
