The Demag IntElect series is among the pioneering machines that introduced fully electric drive technology to the plastics injection molding sector in the late 2000s. Unlike conventional hydraulic systems, where pumps and cooling circuits run continuously, the IntElect's servo drive activates only when movement is actually required. Motor System — Siemens MOTICS 3

The main drive unit precisely controls all clamping and injection movements.
Plasticizing motor: Water-cooled servo motor
Based on the same Siemens MOTICS 3 platform, this motor homogenously melts material through precision speed and torque control; the water-cooled design ensures stable operation for long-term, intensive production.
5-Axis Full Servo Control
The machine is equipped with five independent servo motors. Clamping, injection, screw retraction, ejection, and plasticizing are all fully servo driven. As each axis can be programmed independently, all movements can be performed simultaneously. This architecture provides micron-level repeatable precision, shorter cycle times, and minimal mechanical wear compared to hydraulic systems.
NC4 Control System
The keypad-based NC4 system manages all machine parameters — including injection profile, mold protection, and cycle analysis — from a single interface.
