FICEP DZ 603 Drilling Line for Structural Steel Profiles

The Ficep DZ 603 is a drilling line with 3 drilling axes designed for profile processing. This 3-axis drilling machine is engineered for processing structural steel beams in steel fabrication. Steel profiles can be automatically drilled and center-punched on 3 axes (flange and web). The MITROL CNC control, equipped with Arianna software, enables the programming of the drilling line. CAD files in DSTV or DXF format are converted to NC data within the CNC controller, and the machine executes the machining program, positioning the axes as specified. A servo-driven gripper carriage accurately positions the profile at the drilling unit to the required drilling position. A five-position automatic tool changer allows for rapid drill bit changes on each drilling axis. Heavy-duty roller conveyors at the entry and exit sections ensure smooth and stable transportation of steel profiles.
