Before clamping the drill bit, use the rotary dial on the grinder to set the drill diameter. The drill bit is aligned and clamped against the stop in the left holder using the appropriate collet.

Grinding the cutting edges and pointing the bit are straightforward processes. Switch on the machine, insert the drill with the fixture into the right holder, and gently rotate from stop to stop – the first cutting edge is finished. Then, rotate the fixture 180° to grind the second edge.

Pointing is performed in the upper holder in the same way. That’s it! Simply switch off the machine and unclamp the drill bit.

A clever design combines an eccentric mechanism with a special grinding wheel, eliminating concerns about cutting edge geometry or clearance angles. Additionally, both cutting edges are ground with exactly the same settings, ensuring optimal edge symmetry. Furthermore, the point angle can be freely set between 90° and 140° before grinding.

21 highly precise collets for diameters from 3 to 13 mm in 0.5 mm increments guarantee perfectly concentric clamping.

The grinding wheel’s service life exceeds 5,000 operations. Alongside the standard CBN wheel for HSS tools, a diamond wheel for carbide drill bits is also available. Changing wheels takes only seconds, and two safety switches prevent accidental start-up when the machine is open.
The compact design and convenient carrying handle make the drill grinding machine ideal for mobile use. Since the complete accessory kit, such as collets, fixtures, or Allen wrenches, is stored directly on the machine, everything you need is always at hand.
