Offset sanding units equipped with large dimensioned tension rollers for efficient heat dissipation and stable belt tracking. Sanding units feature forced sanding belt oscillation. Two-point sanding dust extraction directly at the sanding drum. Additional airborne dust extraction at the large tension rollers. Integrated sanding belt blow-off system extends belt service life. Integrated brushing and finishing unit adjustable via threaded spindle with high-performance dust extraction. Motorized sanding thickness adjustment for the entire upper section via precision threaded spindles and linear ball sets on hardened and ground precision shafts, equipped with dust and dirt protection. Electronic digital display for workpiece thickness (resolution 0.1 mm). Contact roller and sanding pad optimally proportioned for abrasive load. Hardened and ground sanding drums. Maintenance- and wear-free oxide ceramic sanding pads (DBGM) provide outstanding gliding properties, effective heat dissipation, and high dimensional stability. Sanding belt tensioned by pneumatic cylinders. Belt change via pneumatically controlled belt release. Sanding belt tracking can be set during belt changes. Electropneumatic pressure monitoring for air supply with optical fault indication. Automatic machine stop triggered by belt breakage and infeed safety with integrated wood thickness control. Visual signals at the operator panel. Feed device and proven, calibrated, slip-resistant and high-adhesion conveyor belts mounted on precisely ground tables and spring-mounted pressure rollers. Cardan shaft drive ensures uniform wood feed. Feed speed infinitely adjustable. Chip removal setting below via precision threaded spindle with scale ring display (resolution 0.1 mm). Ergonomically arranged controls and adjustments on machine front: sanding and brushing units above and below, workpiece feed unit, sanding thickness adjustment, machine operation and fault indication. Integrated power and control unit with lockable main switch in machine frame. All motors electrically protected against overload.
