Dowel and slot mortising machine HOFFMANN HR 150

Very good condition, like new. The machine comes from an assembly company and shows almost no signs of wear—essentially as new. It was used only for minor alteration work and is now being sold as it has been unused for the past years.

Allows routing of elongated slots and drilling of dowel holes on 2 levels without repositioning the workpiece.

With this machine, you can mill elongated holes for, e.g., lock cases and similar items, and create all types of dowel joints in frames—right-angled, butt, and mitre joints.

Ideal for producing dowel joints in timber frame construction, furniture, door, window, and staircase manufacturing, and similar applications.

Thanks to drilling on two levels, the use of stops and guides, and the overall build of the machine, dowel joints can be produced in a very short time, making the operation highly economical.

The machine requires a 6 bar compressed air connection (air consumption is very low).

Two fold-out workpiece supports.

Comes with 3 drill adapters: for drill bits with 16mm or 12mm shafts and for drill bits with M10 thread.

Workpiece clamping is via two pneumatic cylinders operated by foot pedal, allowing you to hold the workpiece securely with both hands.

Height adjustment between drilling levels is also pneumatic—with the pneumatic switch located at the top of the adjustment lever for the indexing system, enabling rapid adjustment of stops and drilling levels.

With a precision 12mm indexing rail, offering a centred index and 13 stops to the left and right.

Each drilling level has a precise counter, allowing quick, easy, and accurate height adjustment for every drilling level.

Can also be used as a mortising machine, with two adjustable stops left and right, and in this mode offers a maximum working stroke width of 500mm.

Equipped with a stop rail at the front of the machine table, which can be adjusted downward if needed.
