Why a 1600-ton press brake?

The required bending force depends on:
- Material thickness
- Material strength
- Bending length
- Die opening

If any of these factors are high, the required tonnage increases exponentially.

A 1600-ton press brake is used when:
- Thick plate needs to be bent (20–60+ mm)
- High-strength materials are processed
- Very long parts need to be bent (6–10+ meters)
- Tight radii or deep bends are required
