The Hydro 2000S module supports circulation of 50 ml to 150 ml of liquid; variable pump/mixer speeds enable suspension and circulation of particles of various sizes and densities, while the variable-power ultrasonic system allows for the dispersion of particle agglomerates.
The Mastersizer 2000 measures particle sizes in the sample and displays their distribution graphically on a connected computer. Measurement takes place as particles pass between the detector array and the laser.
