Climate chamber for stability testing in accordance with ICH – WHO – EMA – ASEAN – GMP – GLP – GCCP guidelines.

The stability testing chamber complies with ICH and GMP protocols. Environmentally friendly and efficient: the ICHeco climate chamber for the stability testing of pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or food products, uses an eco-friendly CO₂ (R744) refrigerant. Memmert thereby introduces a sustainable future for compressor-cooled temperature chambers. Additionally, the ICHeco model stands out for its exceptional uniformity in both temperature and humidity. An air-jacketed system surrounding the hermetically sealed inner chamber enables rapid and uniform heat input from all four sides. This design effectively prevents frosting of the refrigeration system and sample desiccation.

Stability testing in accordance with ICH Q1B, Option 2 (photostability)
The ICHeco L climate chamber can be equipped with a lighting module for tests in compliance with ICH Q1B, Option 2 (photostability). The light source is a fluorescent lamp emitting cold white light (daylight: color 865, 6,500 K) and UV radiation in the 320–400 nm range. Both daylight and UV meet the D65 standard illumination requirements.

Controlled CO₂ supply in the ICH chamber
The compact ICH C climate chamber offers ideal conditions, especially for testing construction and concrete materials. Through electronic CO₂ control with automatic zeroing (NDIR measurement system) and a regulation range of 0–10%, reliable long-term tests can be carried out to determine carbonation depth in concrete — without the need for large, energy- and cost-intensive testing chambers.

Eco-friendly CO₂ refrigerant ensures superior cooling performance
The ICHeco climate chamber is efficient and environmentally friendly. Compared to devices using R134a refrigerant, it offers faster temperature change rates during cooling. Of course, Memmert climate chambers ICH / ICH L / ICH C with R134a refrigerant remain available alongside.
