Only one vessel is in operation at any time, while the other is either regenerating or on standby. In the softener, calcium and magnesium are replaced with sodium. The system features volumetric control that switches to the other vessel once the preset volume is reached. Regeneration takes place using brine from the brine tank. The hardness at the outlet is 0° dH. 2. Reverse Osmosis: The reverse osmosis unit fills the permeate tank with demineralized water (permeate). Conductivity levels and operating pressures vary depending on raw water quality, water temperature, membrane condition, and correct adjustment. The system operates according to the acid-chlorite process in batch mode and produces a stably buffered chlorine dioxide solution with high concentration accuracy.
