The machine has been serviced annually under a maintenance contract with Okuma.
In 2023, the cable carrier of the W axis, including all hoses, was replaced.
In October 2024, the linear guides for X/Y/Z were renewed.
The performed work was carried out by Okuma:
- Machine cleaned
- Sheet metal and covers disassembled
- 8-axis removed
- Gantry column dismantled and lifted out of the machine. ATC dismantled and removed from the machine
- All linear guides removed
- Mounting surfaces of the ZA axis cleaned
- New ZA axis linear guide, including carriages, installed and tightened to the specified torques
- New ZA axis ball screw, including bearings, installed
- Base plate of the gantry installed and tightened to specified torques or screwed to the carriages. Lubrication lines connected
- ATC, including attachments, installed and connected
- New YA and XA linear guides installed and tightened to the specified torques. New YA axis ball screw, including bearings, installed
- Gantry column installed and lubrication lines connected. XA base plate positioned and aligned
- 8-axis mounted and aligned
- H1 turret installed
- Drive motor for the 8th axis mounted
- Assembly of 8th axis and new H1 as well as geometry setting
- Function test of 8th axis and H1
- Run-in program for B-axis approx. 12h, after which old oil removed from the 8th axis
- Run-in program for H1 and defect report for OEG created
- Left door installed, various sheet metal parts adjusted
- Chuck installed
- Adjusted zero points
- Checked tool change
