Overview

This automatic screw cap remover (unscrewer) from RINK was manufactured in 2020 and is designed for the automatic removal of screw caps from returnable glass bottles before they enter the bottle washing process. The machine was installed in a returnable glass bottling plant with a capacity of approx. 2,000 crates per hour. Systems of this type are usually positioned upstream of the bottle washer to ensure bottles enter the cleaning process without closures. The machine is configured for 0.75-liter GDB bottles in 12-bottle crates and includes format parts for various crate types. The system operates with cross-flow crate transport and a crate infeed direction from left to right.
