Sakurai 466 SIP

The Sakurai 466 SIP, manufactured in 2005, bears the serial number HF113105 and is a four-color offset printing press with a maximum sheet size of 470 x 660 mm and a cumulative output of 25 million impressions. The machine is currently operational in a printing facility in Germany and is equipped with a DTC Delivery Top Console featuring a touchscreen and comprehensive remote control capabilities. It incorporates advanced automation systems such as SIS (Sakurai Interactive System) for print preparation, SAS (Sakurai Auto Set) for automatic paper size and thickness adjustment, SPC (semi-automatic plate changer), as well as a plate register and tension register system for precise alignment.

The press is outfitted with automatic washing systems for both blanket cylinders and ink rollers, an Olivermatic dampening unit, and a Baldwin cooling and Bal Control system to ensure consistent print quality. The feeder unit features a suction belt feeder with electronic double sheet and side lay detection, while chrome-plated impression cylinders provide enhanced durability and performance. Furthermore, the machine offers a perfecting unit enabling 4/0 or 2/2 printing in fully automated operation, a medium pile delivery, and a powder spray system.
