ABOUT THE DEVICE The TESA Scan 50 plus is a high-precision optical-tactile shaft measuring machine for the measurement of rotationally symmetrical workpieces such as shafts, turned parts, precision journals, pins, and similar test components. The device combines contactless optical measurement with tactile probes and achieves a resolution of 0.1 µm for diameters and 0.5 µm for lengths. TESA (Switzerland) is now part of the Hexagon Metrology Group – a world-leading provider of industrial metrology. The Scan 50 plus is typically used in quality control laboratories, metrology departments in precision and small series manufacturing, as well as in research and development.
