Description:
The universal spindle lathe SU 1500 Variant is a numerically controlled machine intended for roughing and finishing shaft and flange parts, threading, drilling, taper turning, and machining various rotationally symmetric surfaces. The machine features a horizontal bed with a rigid design, hardened and ground bedways, and longitudinal slides with Turcite B sliding material. The SU 1500 Variant is an automatic cycle-controlled machine equipped with a Heidenhain control system.

Longitudinal feed drive (Z-axis) is directly via servo drive to the ball screw. Cross feed drive (X-axis) is also directly via servo drive to the ball screw. Both axes are measured by encoders mounted on the servomotors. The machine can be operated both manually and in automatic mode.

This lathe is in very good original condition and comes from a workshop where it was only occasionally used for special custom work. The control system is very user-friendly. Central lubrication ensures regular maintenance of the guides. The TOS SU 1500 Variant has been mechanically and electrically tested by us.
