Large-Scale Climate Test Chamber with S!MCON Control System

Design
The system is comprised of the following main assemblies:
- Walk-in, insulated test chamber
- Air treatment compartment
- Machine unit
- Climate system
- Control cabinet

Test Chamber
The internal fittings of the test chamber are made from corrosion-resistant materials. The chamber is walk-in, can be illuminated, and features both a condensate water and cleaning drain.

Air Treatment Compartment
Located behind the air deflection panel within the insulated interior, the air treatment compartment contains all components required for temperature control and is accessible by easily removable panels.
- Test chamber fans
- Heat exchanger
- Electric heater element
- Supply and exhaust air equipment
- Temperature sensors

Within the air treatment compartment, air is conditioned (cooled/heated), humidified and dehumidified, and circulated by fans.

Air is drawn in near the ceiling and discharged near the floor.

Sensors
Temperature and humidity sensors are located behind the air deflection panel in the air treatment compartment.

Machine Unit
The machine unit, consisting of refrigeration units, supplies the air treatment compartment with the required energy.

Climate System
The climate system consists of:
- Steam humidifier
- Dehumidifying evaporator
