Large-scale climatic test chamber with S!MCON control system

Construction
The system consists of the following main components:
- Walk-in, insulated test chamber
- Air handling room
- Machine unit
- Climate control system
- Control cabinet

Test Chamber
The test chamber interior fittings are made of corrosion-resistant materials. The chamber is walk-in, can be illuminated, and is equipped with a condensate drain and cleaning drain.

Air Handling Room
The air handling room is located behind the air guide wall within the insulated interior. It contains the assemblies necessary for temperature control and is accessible via easily removable panels:
- Test chamber fans
- Heat exchangers
- Electric heaters
- Ventilation and extraction units
- Temperature sensors

In the air handling room, air is conditioned (heated/cooled), humidified/dehumidified, and circulated by fans. Air is drawn in from the ceiling area and discharged at floor level.

Sensors
Temperature and humidity sensors are located behind the air guide wall in the air handling room.

Machine Unit
The machine unit consists of refrigeration systems supplying the air handling room with the required energy.

Climate Control System
The climate control system comprises:
- Steam humidifier
- Dehumidification evaporator
