Measurements using X-ray tomography for production and metrology lab
The transmission tube, featuring a monoblock design for the first time, achieves a small focal spot even at high tube output, enabling rapid, high-resolution measurements. The monoblock construction of the tube, generator, and vacuum system is implemented for the first time as an open design, resulting in long maintenance intervals and, theoretically, unlimited service life. Typical applications include 3D measurements of connectors, plastic housings and covers, 3D-printed components, packaging, PET bottles, and preforms. The TomoScope® XS (utility model) can also be used for tool correction. Measurements performed on workpieces allow the functionality and wear of tools to be checked. For example, workpieces can be inspected for signs of tool breakage or burr formation.
