Washing System

The heart of the PT series: inside the machine, two S-shaped wash arms work together. Optimized water flow and special nozzle geometry ensure even water distribution, resulting in superior washing results with as little as 2.2 liters of rinse water per cycle. High quality can be found even in the details: robust stainless steel axles guarantee optimal rotation and contribute to the PT-XL’s outstanding reliability.

Variable Wash Pressure Adjustment

Every Winterhalter PT-XL comes standard with variable wash pressure regulation: VarioPower precisely adjusts the wash pressure to the items being washed and the degree of soiling. Fine glasses and delicate bowls are washed at lower pressure, while robust dishware is cleaned with higher water pressure. This ensures tough dirt is effectively removed, and delicate items are washed gently and held securely in place.

Wastewater Heat Recovery

A major benefit of the PT series: EnergyLight wastewater heat recovery is standard. The heat exchanger uses the energy from the wastewater to preheat the incoming cold water. The advantages: the machine heats up faster between cycles, resources are conserved, and energy costs can be reduced by up to 10%.

Exhaust Air Heat Recovery

The Winterhalter PT-XL Energy Plus also features exhaust air heat recovery. In addition to the standard wastewater heat recovery, an exhaust heat exchanger is used. It utilizes the energy from the warm water vapor inside the machine to preheat the cold supply water. As a result, hardly any warm, humid steam escapes into the room when the machine is opened. Up to 15% in energy costs can be saved per wash cycle.
