The high-resolution MultiVision inspection system is focused on the finest color deviations as well as light and dark color defects.

The patented PROsize technology sorts products and foreign materials that have the same color as the quality product by using size characteristics. The machine is equipped with near-infrared spectroscopy (NIR) technology for visual color analysis. This enables the sorter to detect defective pieces or foreign objects of any color, including black. It also makes detection of color defects possible.

The machine is fitted with a new optical sorter that achieves up to 50% higher rejects concentration. SpectraVision was designed to deliver maximum yield.

Newly designed internal full-color cameras provide best-in-class color resolution, even for the smallest defects, while new InGaAs cameras elevate foreign material (FM) detection to a new level.

Innovative ejection algorithms significantly reduce false rejects, and new calibration and monitoring algorithms improve machine consistency and decrease false reject rates. Default modes and programs for each product are pre-set and tested by SORTEX specialists for optimal machine setup straight out of the box.

The simple user interface design and individual sensitivity control for each defect make it easy for operators to maintain optimal machine performance.

Performance monitoring of the machine is possible from anywhere in the world, in line with Industry 4.0 standards. Machine settings changes are logged and stored in the Bühler Insights system, and the SORTEX monitoring system enables real-time sorting performance and emergency alerts monitoring.
