CORMAK IMET CUBO 400NC FLAT

The CUBO 400 NC model is a state-of-the-art band saw that ensures user safety with a specially designed metal cover, protecting all four sides and all moving parts of the saw. The guard system enables full access to the machine and easy maintenance.

The unit features an innovative and user-friendly 7" touchscreen with an intuitive interface, allowing full control over all machine settings. It is possible to program up to 99 cutting programs and 10 different cutting lengths on the same bar.

CNC control provides access to all machine operational functions: automatic blade thickness calculation, stroke repetition counts, band speed, and blade descent speed. The interface also allows real-time monitoring of the CUBO’s operating status and error diagnostics through an auto-diagnosis function.

Integrated feeder for automatic repetition of the cutting process. The feeder moves along a hardened and chrome-plated guide; high-precision positioning is ensured by a precision ball screw feeding system with a backlash-free (self-braking) motor, mounted on a floating plate to absorb loads when processing irregular bars.

The saw body boasts a rigid cast iron construction made from square-section tubing, providing high resistance to deformation and improved performance with every type of material. The arm is equipped with an endless screw and a highly durable bronze alloy crown.

A mechanical material detection device enables fast positioning of the blade relative to the workpiece by automatically detecting the first cutting point. The end of the cut is managed by a microswitch on the blade guide, allowing for perfect band alignment thanks to hardened metal shims and additional bearings.

IMET automatic machines can be connected to a company network and operated remotely through the SAWFACTORY system and modem. SAWFACTORY is dedicated software that lets you manage the cutting process from the office by setting up programs and monitoring machine operation via a web application. It also supports remote technical assistance.
