Operating Notes
The stated gross weight is technically possible; depending on cargo, the actual gross weight may not be achieved while observing the permissible axle, support, and saddle loads.
Special approval required when train length exceeds 16,500 mm.
When transporting a 45 ft container with short tunnel, with or without front extension, the approved system length from kingpin to rearmost end and a gross train length of 16,500 mm is exceeded! The rear underrun protection must be manually extended! An exemption according to § 70 StVZo is required!
