The GIF kitchen ventilation ceiling is an overall active solution, providing full coverage from wall to wall. It includes extensive supply and exhaust air fields, integrated lighting, and compensation surfaces with an installation height of just 200 mm. The use of the ceiling void as a pressure chamber in accordance with VDI 2052 allows for both “open” and “closed” system configurations, always maximizing the area of technically active surfaces. This ensures comprehensive capture of vapors from frying, cooking, and other sources, as well as broad, low-turbulence air distribution that guarantees a comfortable climate without condensation or drafts. The unique modular system offers ultimate transparency and hygiene thanks to its fully reversible design.

The special modular design ensures maximum hygiene and ease of cleaning through full reversibility. On the supply air side, the GIF active cassette ceiling delivers large-area, low-turbulence supply air in line with the displacement ventilation principle. Energy efficiency is standard. The special design ensures indirect supply air guidance, even at high flow rates, with low entry speeds and no induction effect. Since the active cassettes are identical in both supply and exhaust air sections, they are completely interchangeable.
