The DR 3800 is a VIS spectrophotometer with a wavelength range of 320 to 1100 nm. The unit comes with a comprehensive suite of application programs and supports multiple languages. The DR 3800 spectrophotometer includes the following:

Stored programs (pre-installed tests), barcode programs, user programs, favorites, single wavelength, multi-wavelength, wavelength scan, and time scan.
The DR 3800 performs digital measurements in the units of concentration, absorbance, or % transmission.

Selecting a user-generated or configured method activates a structured menu guide and prompts users through the testing process. This menu system can also generate reports, statistical analyses of created calibration curves, and device diagnostic check reports.
