Hartford HCMC 1682 – Heidenhain TNC640, used – Year of manufacture 2021 – low hours!

Hartford vertical CNC machining center equipped with Heidenhain TNC640 control, large-dimension precision box ways on X, Y, and Z axes, traversable clamping table, and powerful main spindle with SK50 tool taper, closed-loop spindle cooling, automatic two-stage gearbox, spindle speed n = 10–6,000 rpm, max. power Pmax = 38 kW, max. torque Mmax = 979 Nm, 32-position tool magazine with quick-change arm, and ergonomically designed work area enclosure with electronically monitored front sliding doors fitted with viewing panels. Tool magazine can also be loaded/unloaded from the rear.

Cooling System:
Coolant Emulsion:
Nozzles for external coolant supply are installed at the spindle nose of the vertical saddle.
The coolant circulates through the transverse and longitudinal conveyors back into the coolant tank, from which it is pumped through the nozzles as needed (via M-function or switch on the control panel). Mechanical screens in the coolant tank provide coolant filtration.
Optional:
For internal coolant supply (ICS), a high-pressure pump with a basic filter system is provided. When ICS is activated, coolant is pumped from the tank through the high-pressure pump and filter system.

The machine was only used for a single contract. As this contract no longer exists, the machine is now surplus to requirements.
