THE COST-EFFECTIVE PIPE BENDING MACHINE FOR TIGHT BEND RADII:

The pipe bending machine with a free-standing bending head can be easily converted for left- and right-hand bending, making it suitable for complex geometries. Interchangeable bending tools enable quick changeover to different tube sizes. Fast hydraulics to minimize auxiliary times is a key factor for series production.

The clamping pressure for pipe holding can be optimally adjusted. The PLC control (freely expandable via USB stick) with data storage and state-of-the-art X2X interface can store an almost unlimited number of programs for bending angles, lengths, and rotary angles for up to 50 bends per pipe length. For monitoring spring-back values, a freely programmable database for up to 200 materials is available.

The machine features two operating modes: In "Simple Bending" mode, the length and rotation of the bends are automatically displayed relative to each other. In "Controlled Bending" mode, the data is entered beforehand, and a continuous target/actual comparison is performed during bending.

This eliminates incorrect positioning within a tolerance window and thus minimizes operator-related error rates. General error messages are displayed as full text on the large screen. The mandrel retraction is programmable and can be automatically retracted as soon as the desired bending angle is reached.

The compact drive unit with detachable mandrel holder offers advantages for on-site installation and for special designs with large tube feed, and is also available as a stationary version with a storage system for tools and mandrel bars. The cost-effective alternative to fully controlled CNC machines.
