Each axis is driven by a continuously adjustable servo drive, consisting of a responsive drive motor and a zero-backlash ball screw. Various machining cycles such as circular pockets, rectangular pockets, slot milling, drilling, deep-hole drilling, tapping, etc. allow the Maho to be easily operated. The milling machine was used in a training workshop. Additionally, the machine features hydraulic clamping both vertically and horizontally.
