TÜV (German inspection) valid until December 2026 (recertified at 20,178 km, currently at 20,350 km). No issues whatsoever.

Extremely robust MAN-VW all-wheel-drive chassis. Permanent 4x4. Leaf spring suspension.

Single tyres.

Wheelbase: 3,100 mm.

Original 7.49-tonner, model 8.150 FAE, with the original registration documents; registered as such until recently. Therefore, this fire truck can be driven directly with an old Class 3 car driving license (issued before 1999).

Unladen weight according to vehicle papers: 5,505 kg with the fitted box body (body external dimensions: 3.72 m long / 2.49 m wide / 1.61 m pure box height plus roof structures).

Based on experience, the bare chassis without fire department body weighs under 4 tonnes.

Therefore, this vehicle is highly attractive as a platform for building a robust expedition vehicle that can truly be made ready-for-travel and practical at a total permissible weight of max. 7.49 t, potentially even with some payload reserve.

This example already features the newer 6-cylinder engine with 6,823 cc and 150 hp.

5-speed manual transmission with reduction gear and 2 locking differentials.

89 km/h top speed!

Power steering.

Tilting cab with roof hatch and 3 seats.

Overall vehicle dimensions: 5.95 m long / 2.50 m wide / 2.95 m high.

Roof is accessible via an integrated ladder installed in the box body.

The special signaling system is still installed and fully functional.

Tyres: 10.00 R 20 (16 PR), in good condition.

2 complete and good spare wheels are also available for this MAN-VW. Sale/transfer by arrangement.

Small pintle tow hitch with 2,000 kg towing capacity braked, or 1,500 kg unbraked.

The MAN starts instantly and is immediately ready for use.

Thanks to years of being stored in a garage, this is a fine truck from an era when vehicles were still built with care.

This offer is only valid for commercial customers or authorities / BOS (emergency services). Subject to prior sale and errors excepted at any time.

The purchase price is the final gross price (differential taxation according to §25a UStG; a separate statement of VAT is not possible, nor will VAT be added to this purchase price).
