MACHINE STRUCTURE
The base structure is a monolithic construction made of thick-walled steel. It is reinforced with welded-in parts throughout the entire machine bed, resulting in extreme stability. The specific table design, featuring a large base, is the secret to guaranteeing long-term precision and stability. The machine layout allows the user to achieve optimal workflow with minimal space requirements. The moving gantry carrier is constructed as a solid monoblock. It is positioned in the X-direction via prismatic, ground guides and recirculating ball carriages. On this moving aggregate carrier, the working unit is also mounted on prismatic, ground guides with recirculating ball carriages.
AXIS MOVEMENT
All axes travel on prism-linear guides with a large cross-section and recirculating ball shoes with a large support surface, which ensures optimal sliding even at the highest speeds and accelerations.
Precise and fast positioning of the mobile gantry (X-axis) is achieved via a helical rack and pinion drive. Recirculating ball screws with a large cross-section ensure the precise positioning of the working unit along the movable gantry (Y- and Z-axes). The perfect mechanical dynamics and maximum positioning accuracy are controlled by high-quality drives and brushless motors.
Maximum axis speeds:
- X-axis = 90 m/min
- Y-axis = 90 m/min
- Z-axis = 30 m/min

Around the mobile column, bumpers with sensors are installed, and a light curtain system is positioned in front of the machine. If the operator enters the active zone, the X-axis travel speed is reduced to a lower value of 25 m/min, without stopping the machine. This system allows the loading of workpieces in pendulum operation during machining, without limiting access zones as with tread mat systems. This prevents unwanted interruptions in the machining cycle and allows greater freedom of movement around the work table.

Lubrication of the X, Y, and Z axes is controlled by the CNC; scheduled at regular intervals, without manual intervention on the machine.
Central extraction port
All individual extraction ports of the machining units are combined into a central port. Inside the port, there are various slide valves, which are controlled via the NC control system. In this way, only the required extraction air volume is used.
