WINDOR 60 is an integrated machining center for flexible production of windows and doors. WINDOR 60 allows the execution of the following operations:
1.1 Crosscutting with specification of the finished workpiece length.
1.2 Tenoning with automatic workpiece rotation and manual feed (automatic as an option) into the profiling unit. 1, 2, or 3 tenoning units (optional) with holding length 620 mm, with counter bearing and Jolly/L spall protection are available. Optionally, the capability for automatic angled tenoning (max. +/- 60°) is also available.
1.3 Drilling (option): Drillings can be performed on the end face and/or the longitudinal side of the workpieces. Doweling holes, handle holes, and cup hinge holes are possible.
1.4 Profiling right:

Two profiling spindles are available with holding lengths of 320 mm and 620 mm (option), with counter bearing, for up to a maximum of 4 units in sequence. All right-hand guides (optionally also left-hand guide) are CNC-controlled.
1.5 Profiling left: For machining workpieces that also require left-side profiling:
- vertical auxiliary profiling spindle (option) with 620 mm mounting length (non-lowering). Up to a maximum of 4 units in sequence.
1.6 Profiling bottom and/or top (option)
1.7 Execution for hardware grooves (option), continuous or interrupted grooves possible.
1.8 Separation of the glazing bead is performed in the last position on the right side of the profiling unit. The working unit is equipped with splitter wedge and holding device. A guide (with ON/OFF control from the CNC) ensures correct clamping of the workpiece.
1.9 Rebating of sash frames (option) is carried out in the machine’s profiling unit, using the right-hand alignment rail as reference stop. The left guide, which can be manually deactivated, adapts to the work table and compensates for possible width discrepancies of up to 20 mm. The infeed-side, timer-controlled working unit, with reversible rotation, functions as spall protection.
2.0 Operator position and space requirements
On the Windor 60, the operator is located in an ergonomically optimal position in the center of the machine, providing an excellent overview of the entire machining process. The clamping device, open towards the operator, allows for very easy loading of the workpieces. The space requirements of the Windor 60 are minimal: thanks to its special design, the tenoning unit can be positioned against a wall or in corners, thus making optimal use of available workshop space. In the case of automatic infeed into the profiling unit (option), the workpieces are discharged downstream from the tenoner on the left side.
