The stretch banderole machines of the SKINETTA series are designed to tightly band or wrap single products or groups of products with polyethylene film. Unlike shrink wrapping machines, the wrapping film is tightly pulled around the package before sealing. The primary advantage of this method lies in the tight wrapping, which results in up to 20% less film consumption.

A particular advantage of the patented SKINETTA tensioning system is the continuously adjustable, precise control.

The sealing (welding) of the film occurs in a very compact space, producing a neat seal with minimal overlap. By adding a SKINETTAther or SKINETTAshrink heat tunnel and using appropriately wide film, any excess film extending beyond the package can be shrunk on the sides. This process further stabilizes the package and prevents individual items from falling out of the grouped bundle. Complete sealing of the packages by top/bottom sealing and side folding is possible with corresponding accessories.

The SKINETTA stretch banderole machine range includes 6 base models for film widths of 25 mm, 200 mm, 290 mm, 440 mm, 590 mm, 790 mm, and 1250 mm. To increase throughput, the machines are available in single-lane as well as two- to four-lane configurations. In the SK series (semi-automatic), products are grouped on the machine table by an operator. The insertion into the film and subsequent banderoling process is initiated either by a foot switch or a two-hand control system. Later full automation is possible (except for the SK 200 model). In the ASK series (fully automatic), products are automatically fed, grouped, and banderoled using appropriate additional equipment. A modular system of feed, grouping, forming, and special devices, based on over 20 years of experience, allows adaptation to a wide variety of customer requirements using proven standard components.
