Operating system: The system utilizes a hydraulic piston and patented technology to optimize space and ensure linear motion. With the drawing die port minimizing flexion of the support structure, it enables a compact die length and effectively doubles the useful drawing stroke.

Gripper return: A patented double-circuit chain technology returns the gripper to its starting position. This allows the hydraulic piston stroke to be half the useful working stroke.

Traction force: Traction force is applied in line with the drawing die.

Speed control: Drawing speed can be manually adjusted from 0 to 16 meters/minute (0–16 m/min), providing precise speed regulation and constant speed thanks to the hydraulic drive.

FUNCTION

The VM/TRI253S hydraulic drawing bench is used for cold reduction of the cross-sectional area of a metal rod—either round or shaped profile—as well as hollow or 'cored' metal tubes. The reduction is achieved by drawing the material through a calibrated drawing die and pulling it using a mechanical clamp, applying the required force to achieve the desired dimensional reduction.
