The resulting dirt particles, emulsion and oil mist, as well as smoke, are captured directly at the source and directed through the individual filter stages. The separated liquid collects in the base of the unit and can be returned to the machining center via the siphon.

In the first filter stage, larger particles are retained by an aluminum pre-filter to protect the downstream high-performance fleece filters. The second filter stage removes most of the fine emulsion and oil mist. This filter stage consists of an aluminum frame fitted with a filter mat type G4 and a filter mat type F5 according to DIN 24185 / EN 779. The filter mats must be replaced according to their level of contamination.

The third filter stage is a large-surface HEPA filter of class H13. A consistently high separation efficiency of 99.95% at a particle size from 0.3μ DOP is achieved here.

Type testing according to DIN EN 1822-1 H13 allows the filtered air to be recirculated into the workspace.
