The U-162 small parts counter was specifically developed for use as a filler on automatic bagging machines and is ideal for counting repetitive batches of the same product type. Embedded within the ICI vision mass counting technology, the U-162B parts counter can count an unprecedented variety of small parts ranging in size from 1 mm to 25 mm, without requiring tooling changes when switching objects.

Complexly shaped objects, including open-formed items, can be easily counted, making the U-162B small parts counting machine an ideal system for the aerospace, defense, medical, electronics, hardware, and other industries. The unique capability to count multiple objects in parallel enables counting speeds of up to 200 objects per second and delivers results comparable to weight-based machines, while simultaneously providing greater accuracy than conventional counters.

The DATA U-162 small object counting machine can be integrated into various automatic poly-bagging machines including Autobag, Audion, Paxmatic, Sharp, and many others.
