Horizontal band saw with a swiveling arm for cutting metals, allowing cuts perpendicular to the axis of the workpiece as well as at any angle from 0 to 60º. The material can be fed either manually or by any mechanical feeding device, with automatic feed of the tool. The blade guides are fitted with dedicated carbide plates and bearings, which has a significant impact on blade guidance, durability, cutting straightness, and overall cutting accuracy and quality.

The machine arm is made of profiled CAST IRON. The control panel is located next to the arm. The drive from the electric motor to the saw band’s drive wheel is transmitted via a motor with a worm gear. The cutting blade is tensioned between two cast iron wheels using a manual tensioner and guided by an adjustable rolling and linear carbide guide set. Inside, there is a separate coolant reservoir with an electric pump. The arm lowering speed (cutting speed) is controlled by a hydraulic actuator. Feed rate is managed via the control panel. Two band speeds are available: 36 and 72 m/min. In the rest position of the arm (after the cutting process), the band drive is automatically switched off. Safety is provided by blade guards and microswitches that stop the motor at the end of the cutting cycle or upon opening any of the guards; additional protection includes automatic cut-off of the band saw in the event of blade breakage.
