The STUDER S242 is a versatile hard fine-machining center for grinding, turning, and milling work on medium-sized workpieces. Ideally suited for complete machining in a single setup—from external and internal grinding to hard turning, and drilling/milling with driven tools. The Studer S242 enables highly precise finishing of workpieces in the rotational sector. With integrated automation, this machine is suitable for both single-piece and series production. The S242 also features a VDI turret with driven tools.
