- Composite floor (honeycomb core plastic floor). Composite is built like a kind of lasagna, made from multiple layers of these fibres. These two materials create a sustainable, extremely stable and lightweight board. The core of the composite floor consists of a honeycomb structure, covered on both sides with a facing layer. The whole unit is fused together for stability. The manufacturer of these composite panels comes from the anti-ballistics sector. This is why the facing layer is constructed like that of a bulletproof vest.
