LOIRE SAFE Hydraulic Press – High-Performance System for Toolmaking and Heavy-Duty Forming

This high-performance hydraulic press, designed in a robust 4-column portal configuration, was specially developed for demanding applications in toolmaking (tryout / spotting) as well as large-format forming operations. The stress-relieved, annealed welded frame guarantees maximum rigidity and long-term process stability.

The machine features three main cylinders with multi-cylinder parallel control, achieving high repeat accuracy within ±0.1 mm. The powerful hydraulic system, based on Bosch Rexroth components, operates at a maximum working pressure of approximately 450 bar and allows for precise and forceful processing.

Control is managed via a Siemens S7-317F PLC in combination with servo-driven axes (Rexroth MLC) and visualization through Siemens WinCC. This setup enables fully programmable pressing cycles, storage of tool parameters, and user-friendly operation with diagnostic and fault detection functions.

In terms of safety, the press is comprehensively equipped: light curtains at the front and rear (category 4), ram parallelism monitoring, emergency stop with defined reaction time, as well as optional two-hand operation ensure maximum operational safety. The system is CE-compliant and meets current safety standards.

The equipment includes a hydraulic three-part draw cushion, a hydraulic ram cushion, and an extendable table with approximately 4,000 mm stroke. The machine is further enhanced by a ram face in accordance with DIN standards and integrated die cushion damping for demanding forming processes.
