Status: undergoing complete overhaul.

The PORĘBA TR-135 lathe is a universal machine tool designed for both roughing and finishing operations. It performs excellently when machining shafts and heavy, large-dimension components.

The machine offered is currently undergoing a complete overhaul – the last photograph shows its current stage. The remaining photos depict TR series lathes after comprehensive overhauls performed by our company and delivered to end users – these serve as a reference for the target quality and workmanship standard.

Scope of overhaul:
- Complete disassembly of the lathe
- Refurbishment and replacement of worn components
- Calibration of trapezoidal lead screws and manufacturing of new bronze nuts
- Replacement of bearings and sliding bushings, including new spindle bearings
- Grinding of bedways, carriage and cross-slide guides, followed by scraping of mating surfaces (using friction materials)
- Refurbishment of the tailstock quill
- Refurbishment of the tool post
- Overhaul and upgrade of lubrication and cooling systems
- Electrical scope: fabrication of a new control cabinet, complete new machine wiring, and replacement of all electrical components with new ones
- Inspection of electric motors, including replacement of bearings with new ones
- New paintwork
- Upon completion of the overhaul: trial assembly, preliminary acceptance at our facility, machine installation on the foundation, leveling, and final acceptance
- Adaptation of the lathe to meet minimum safety requirements in accordance with current EU Directives
